If you are using twitter, and you want a massive list of followers, YOU MUST have a picture on your profile.

If you leave that small detail out, you will lose more than 50% of the people coming to your profile.  People do not want to follow a faceless being.  Even if it is not your face, it could be a logo for your company, or just a fun animated picture.  Anything to start with.  You are losing people by not having a picture.  If you look at my profile you will see that I have slightly less people that I follow than my followers.

This is because I will follow anyone who follows me, but I will not follow profiles that do not have pictures.  I will also not follow bait accounts, where people name themselves a famous marketer, and post up a link to something and then just leave it.  This is blackhat, and a bogus way to try and create income.

Social marketing is about building relationships with people.

So the first thing you need to do is post a picture of yourself, or at least a logo or something.

Then communicate with your followers.

If they send a direct message to you…..REPLY.

If they send an @ at you….then REPLY.

Twitter, facebook, and other social networks can be powerful tools for building businesses, but first you must provide value to your friends or followers, and even if you can help them in any way that you can, and you will see your business grow.

Its that simple.

So if you are using my free twittering software it will work, but if you do not want people to unfollow you, post a picture, and communicate with your followers.
