This is one of the best runouts out of my recent attempts. The first rack, I pooched it by scratching after I made the 3, but I shot it out anyways. In the second rack though, I put myself in trouble right off the bat, with too much draw on the one, to leave a long bank on the 2, instead of in the corner, but what happens after that is as sweet as it gets. https://s3.amazonaws.com/davidcheyne.com/videos/tvrunout.mp4
Trying to hit that elusive 5 in a row in ghost pool, and I keep on stalling on the third rack. In this video, after trying for an hour or more, I just started practicing some rail shots, and some trick shots that might come up in a game. https://s3.amazonaws.com/davidcheyne.com/videos/ghostpractice.mp4
After playing for several hours, I finally started to find my stroke, and had a 4/6 run. Still a far cry from 5 in a row, but not really, because If I hadn't missed in the third rack, I would have had my 5 in a row. Damn, it seems like a very elusive number that I did not think was going to be that hard with ball in hand off the break. They way I think, unless your break is bad, they should all be run outs. Wish it was that simple. https://www.facebook.com/david.cheyne/videos/10156977474601805/
Fun times were had by all. The fellows from G.O.T.P, Greg Moorman, Mike Fenwick, and me, played to settle the score in an 8 man tournament. It was fun, and we are planning on a regular deal. If we get more players, we will find a bigger venue than 1 table. If you are interested in getting an invite, just accept notifications on this site, and I will pre-announce the next one, and we can see what we can do. I would like to see 16 people for the next one, and two tables. LETS DO THIS!! First place in this one was $100, second was $40, and third was $20. https://www.facebook.com/david.cheyne/videos/10156971334976805/
This is why I have not gone into any ghost pool tournaments. After trying for hours, I hit 2 in a row several times, but I was trying for 5 in a row. When I can hit 5 in a row, at least once per day from trying for a few hours, then I know I am ready. Not playing enough yet, but now that I am working on a big pool project, my eyes are on the prize. https://www.facebook.com/david.cheyne/videos/10156951324546805/
